Places to see

Day out ideas near Little Ranch Glamping.

Nantwich

A lovely old market town with lots of little streets to explore, lovely cafes, places to eat and shops. The Crown is worth a look inside, Nantwich church and I particularly like a cute little cafe tucked at the back of Welch's butchers via a small shop museum to get there.

There are also supermarkets for any supplies you may need...or if you want to order food, takeaways do deliver down to the shepherd hut and cabins

Snugberry's

A popular ice cream farm with a lovely nature walk towards a giant straw sculpture which changes every few years...currently it is a giant Paddington Bear

Bewilderwood

An amazing day out for children and adults full of mazes which go up into the trees, huge range of slides, zip wires, etc. Its suitable for all ages from toddlers to adults. Plenty of covered areas to eat your own snacks plus there are food stations to buy drinks etc.

Secret Bunker

My sons favourite place! Built during the cold war, and now a museum where all 30 rooms are filled with fascinating equipment and information about the bunkers use. There's a lovely competition to keep youngsters entertained and a cute cafe for refreshments

Beeston castle

A medieval castle set on the highest peak with views on a clear day across to Chester, North Wales, Manchester and Liverpool. A small museum/shop/cafe is at the bottom of the hill.
